Today I came across a Huffington Post article that speaks about those who read the Bible literally. You can find it at this link:
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/david-lose/4-good-reasons-not-to-read-bible-literally_b_919345.html?ncid=wsc-huffpost-cards-headline. Wouldn't it be helpful if we, in our neighborhood and community conversations, in our national politics, and in our world relations, gave thought to what is true and eternal, versus what is man-made? I pray that war is not true and eternal, and if we can agree that it is not, that we might move our decision-making in new directions, freeing up lives (both our own citizens and those in other lands) and resources, for the good of that which is true and eternal.
